Keep Hostis safe, legal, and reliable
Last updated: April 5, 2025
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all users of the Hostis platform, including deployments, game servers, databases, APIs, storage, and networking features. By using Hostis, you agree to comply with this AUP at all times.
Strictly Prohibited Activities
Any use of Hostis infrastructure for the following activities is strictly forbidden. Violations may result in immediate termination without refund and potential reporting to relevant authorities.
Resource & Network Usage Restrictions
Hostis infrastructure is optimized for fair use. Activities below are restricted because they degrade service for other users:
- No public proxies, VPNs, Tor relays, or exit nodes
- No IPTV, high-bandwidth video streaming, or media CDN
- No public file hosting platforms (e.g., Dropbox alternatives)
- Game servers (Minecraft, CS2, Rust, etc.) are allowed
- Web apps, APIs, databases, and personal projects are welcome
Enforcement & Monitoring
- Hostis uses automated systems, manual review, and user reports to detect abuse.
- Violations may result in warnings, throttling, suspension, or permanent termination.
- Severe violations (CSAM, malware, botnets, criminal activity) result in immediate termination and reporting to law enforcement.
- Hostis is not required to provide backups, recovery, or refunds for accounts removed due to AUP violations.
Reporting Abuse
If you believe a Hostis user is violating this AUP, report it to:

Updates to This Policy
Hostis may update this AUP at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated version. Significant changes will be announced via dashboard and email.
